Whether it be a short public service announcement, short television series or full blown studio shoot, Randolph Community Television provides a full range of Video Production Workshops and ongoing Training Classes that will get anyone from beginner to advanced up and running with a completed project within a short period of time.
A workshop or class requires no previous television experience and are available to new and current volunteers of RCTV who will be creating video for Public Access channels.
All courses are taught at RCTV’s fully equipped facilities in Randolph, Massachusetts and are led by an experienced professional in the field who goes through step by step processes in easy to understand language – no technical jargon!
Orientations
Before any workshop is taken, a new volunteer must attend an orientation session.
Introductory Television Production Workshops:
- Introduction Series (basic camera/studio operations)
- ENG/EFP Series (single camera field production)
Advanced Television Production Workshops:
- Director Workshop
- Advanced Camera Operator Techniques
- Audio Workshop
- Non-Linear Editing (computer based digital editing)
